Revlon Youth FX System Review

I was hand picked through Crowdtap to test and review the new Revlon Youth FX System
In my kit I received...
1 sample of Youth FX Foundation
1 sample of Youth FX Concealer
1 sample of Youth FX Forehead primer
and 1sample of Youth FX Face/Neck Primer.

The Revlon Youth FX system is geared towards more mature skin like mine. These products are to fill and blur signs of aging to help you look years younger in just seconds.
As I'm going to be 50 years old this September I have been noticing more fine lines, darker spots and aging skin.
Who doesn't want  products to help hide those signs of aging?! I know I do.

Lets talk about the primers. I like the fill + blur primer for face and neck. It was a bit to thick and took more time to apply onto skin but felt nice and seem to give me a better canvas for foundation. It did appear to fill in my fine lines that I have around my eyes.

As for the Forehead primer I really could do without this product for two reasons first I don't have a need for this yet my forehead has no wrinkles or deep lines between the eyes and second is that the face/neck primer worked well.

Onto the Foundation. The shade I picked is 330 Natural Tan with a SPF20 I have more color on my face from the sun so this shade was a good match. It did give me a full coverage and looked great. It was a lot thicker than what I normally would buy in a foundation.
I noticed that using a foundation brush wasn't a option it needed to be applied with a sponge so it didn't appear blotchy.
It did blur my dark spots and filled in my fine lines. It stayed on over 12 hours and still looked fresh.
Below is a before. My skin has a lot of dark age spots.

These pics are all after I applied the Revlon Youth FX System Products.

Taken Indoor
Taken Outside
My skin looks amazing. Its hard to tell I have dark spots!

There was one thing I disliked about the foundation it was sticky/tacky on my skin all day long. My skin felt awful. I couldn't wait to wash it off. If they could change that I would so buy this as my daily foundation.

The last product is fill + blur concealer in 04 medium. This was way to light in color to be medium. It applied smoothly but didn't give me the coverage I needed. As a matter of fact it made my dark spot stand out even more. I think I would need a  darker shade. Although the foundation did give me full coverage.

I received these free sample to test and review for my honest opinions. All opinions are my own.

Revlon PhotoReady Collection Review

I was hand picked to sample the Revlon  PhotoReady Collection through Crowdtap. I received one PhotoReady Perfecting Primer and one Highlight (210 Gold Light) and Blush Duo (330 Nude kiss).

The Highlight & Blush Duo that I received came in the box that states 003 Medium.
The Insta-blush come in 4 different colors they are Berry Kiss, Candy Kiss, Rose Gold Kiss and Nude Kiss.
The Highlighting sticks come in 2 shades Gold Light and Pink Light.
There are 3 Primers Perfecting, Brightening and Pore Reducing.

I have been using all three of these Revlon products for about 2 weeks now and I must say I really love this collection.

The first time I used it I didn't like it after applying my foundation. I had to wash it off because it made my foundation look caked on. After I applied it I put on my foundation I didn't wait. The second time I applied it I waited about 2 minutes than applied my foundation and it didn't have that caked on look.

The PhotoReady Primer is light and airy. Applies very smoothly and blend into my skin wonderfully. It definitely gives me that awesome photo ready look!

Now lets talk about the Revlon Hightlight & Blush Duo. These are now my two favorite products that I must have in my daily makeup routine.

I love the color of these two products. They go great with my complexion.
The picture before is before I blended them into my skin.
Easy to apply you just draw a line on cheeks with blush and add a line either above or below your blush with highlight stick and blend into skin.  You also can apply highlight down your nose bridge.
The blush isn't too dark nor too light its perfect.
These products last all day never needing to reapply.

I love the way my makeup looks everyday now thanks to Revlon PhotoReady Collection.
My husband asked me one day if I did something different with my makeup because my skin looked as if I had a glow.
I say if your husband notices your skin looks good stick with it.

I received these free sample to test and review all opinion are my own.

NYX Shine Killer Review

I bought this product because it had the words "Shine Killer"
It was a product I have been looking for a product that would take way that oily shine I had on my nose and hide it. I read the box and looked at the before and after picture, I dislike having my nose look shiny while the rest of my face looks great. My oily nose really stand out during the summer months.

I used the NYX shine killer twice and the claim that it will eliminate that oily shine is false!! This product doesn't stand up to what it claims to do.

If you look at the tip of my nose its shiny.

I will still continue to use this a primer it goes on silky smooth.
So I'm off to find a product that will  but not sure if I will find one.

Thees opinions are my own. I was not compensate by NYX do do this review in any way.

Eclos "Dare To Be Bare" 2 Week Challenge Review

Hello, I took the "Dare To Be Bare" 2 week challenge through a Klout Perk I got free.
I received  three Freeman Eclos products to use during this challenge.

Let me tell you a little about this product.
"The Eclos uses Apple Stem Cell technology from a rare swiss apple that has been harvested since the 1800's . They say this apple helps maintain longevity in both life and nutrient value and helps control the sign of aging skin".

During this 2 week challenge this was my routine..
I started with the Eclos am + pm skin prep cleaner I used this twice daily in the morning before I did my daily makeup routine and in the evening to take off my makeup. I really love this cleaner it took off all my makeup without leaving my skin over dry or tight. I really like the container that this prep cleaner comes in. It so easy to pump the prep cleaner into your hands as oppose to trying to open a flip cap with wet hands.

Next I applied the Eclos am + pm Moisture Therapy Regenerative Cream again twice daily. This cream is a rich medium weight moisturizer that helps smooth and brighten your skin and that's exactly what it does. My face looks really fresh and brighter. It has a great scent and I do believe that it also reduced the appearance of my fine line wrinkles. I'm super happy about that! We all want to fight the signs of aging.

Lastly I used the Eclos Daily Hydra Primer SPF 30 only in the morning before applying my makeup. This is actually a great Primer to use. This Primer helped to even out my skin tone and minimized my fine lines. My makeup looked so flawless when I used this Hydra Primer daily.I haven't used any other primer more then I have this.

This blended into my skin beautifully.

I'm happy that I was given this opportunity to take this "Dare To Be Bare" 2 week challenge.
Here is my after picture I'm excited to tell you that my skin hasn't looked this great in a long time. Sorry I don't have the before pictures but you can find them on my Instagram page by clicking here pbkup
