Holiday Contest and Sweeps had the pleasure to review the Acu-Rite Pro 5-in1 Weather Station with HD Display and Lightning Detector. A great group of fellow blogs have joined me in posting and promoting this amazing Weather  Station from Acu-Rite. Acu-Rite will provide one lucky reader whom resides in the Continental United States and are 18+ years of age a chance to win one of these amazing Weather Stations. Let's Take A Look At The  5-in-1 Weather Sensor

 

 The 5-in- Weather Sensor is the brain of this Weather Station. This sensor hub collects and sends information to your High Resolution Weather Station HD Display. It will transmit  your accurate Rainfall amounts through the Rainfall Collector Funnel, equipped  with a Debris Filter to keep junk from your rain collector funnel. The  Internal Temperature and Humidity Sensors are in inside but provide accurate results that are sent to your HD Display. There is also a Internal Aspirating Fan that draws ambient air into the sensor to reduce solar radiation heating, resulting in more accurate  temperature measurements. This sensor also has a Wind Speed Anemometer that provides accurate wind speed measurements.

This sensor comes with a mounting bracket  that allows you attach your 5-1 Sensor in just about any location, but for the best results you do not want to have something  that would block you wind reading . To get the ideal reading, you should mount your Sensor at least 5ft off the ground in an open area and the National Weather Service recommends that you mount it 33 ft high for optimal performance The Sensor requires 4 AA Batteries, so before any mounting is done make sure your batteries are installed. A high quality Alkaline or Lithium batteries are the best for performance. Re-chargeable batteries are not recommend  The 5 -IN-1 Pro Weather Station comes with a Lightning Detector Sensor.

 

This sensor comes with a integrated Hanger that easy placement This wireless sensor

flashes when it is sending Lightning information to the companion unit This sensor

requires four AA Batteries and again you will want to use a good quality Alkaline Battery

or Lithium Battery. Once your battier are in your sensor can start detecting lightning

strikes up to 25 miles away. All the above information is gathered and sent to the HD Display  in your home to give you up to the minute weather results for you area.

 High Resolution Weather Station Display

The Display collects date sent to it from the 5-in-1 Sensor along with the Lightning

Detector. This information is displayed in a High Definition Display making easier 

for you to read and understand. Your Display will show you current Outdoor Humidity,

Current Feel-Like Temperature, Barometric Pressure,12 to 24 Weather Forecast, Time

Date and Day of the Week, Rainfall Rate/Most Recent Rainfall and Rainfall History, and

Today's Rain Indicator.

Your Display will also display current wind speed and direction. Indoor and Outdoor

Temperature along with your current indoor and outdoor humidity readings. This display

also will let you know if any of your batteries are starting to go low. The display comes

with it's own power Adapter.
