Have a Cold? Try "Cabbage Soup"

My husband has a bad cold this weekend and he asked me if we had any can soup. I don't buy can soups.

So I looked to see what I might have in the refrigerator  for homemade soup. I had purple and green cabbage. Next I went to my favorite site Pinterest and found lots of cabbage soup recipes.
I found  "All You Can Eat" Cabbage Soup by BudgetBytes. I had almost have everything I needed to make this. I used chicken broth instead of vegetable broth and didn't have any lemons.
It was easy and fast to make took about hour and it was smelling so delicious.

My husband Mark loved this and he made him feel a little bit better. Of course I couldn't help myself I had to try this it was very tasty full of flavors and the vegetables weren't over cooked.
I would make this again!

Applesauce Chocolate Frosting

Here is a healthier frosting I came across on Pinterest.
I make my own wild organic unsweetened applesauce during the fall so I had plenty to make this recipe.
There is no sugar in this frosting and
I didn't think I would like this but it was good.
I frosted a cake and needed to keep it refrigerated because
it was becoming a bit wet. The frosting tasted so much better
when cold.

This is Vegan, Gluten Free and Paleo.

Moist Vegan Chocolate Cake

I found this Vegan Chocolate Cake recipe on pinterest. I have never ate or made anything Vegan. I want to try more healthier dessert recipes in 2018.
This was easy to put together all ingredients in one bowl and mix.
The cake came out so moist and delicious.
I would make this again.

CREAMY CHICKEN AND MUSHROOM CHOWDER

CREAMY CHICKEN AND MUSHROOM CHOWDER

I have been pinning so many recipes but not ever really making any of them. So I decided its time to cook up these recipes. I want to delete the ones I dislike and keep the good ones.

This Creamy Chicken & Mushroom Chowder is a keeper! Its full of vegetables and flavor. Its the perfect comforting winter food.
This can be made two ways on the stove or in a crockpot. I made it in my crockpot. I also used chicken tenders because its what I had in my freezer.
