Ragu Sauce Review

Ragu sample and share through Crowdtap was a hit at my house! 

Did you notice Ragu label has changed? They went with more yellow and it still has the same great taste.

I received one coupon for a free jar of Ragu. I choose Ragu  Chunky Garden Combination. I love the big chunky of vegetables. 

I checked out Ragu's pinterest page for ideas on what to cooked for my sample product. They really have so many to choose from and they all look so delicious. I decided to make Meatball and Sausage sandwiches. 

I used the Ragu recipe for my meatballs which I only needed two ingredients Italian bread crumbs and eggs mix well and form into balls. I then cut up the Italian sausage place them onto a oven pan and baked at 475 until brown on both sides. In my crock pot I put in my Ragu Chunky sauce anded the meatballs and sausage and cooked it all day on low. 

We put the meatballs and sausage on hard rolls with some cheese. Dinner was a big hit. It was very flavorful with a fresh taste of vegetables. We use Ragu sauce in our recipes almost every week.

West Nile virus had not been previously reported in the U.S. prior to an outbreak in New York in September 1999. According to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), since 1999 more than 30,000 people have been reported with West Nile virus. More than 1,200 have died.

As of August 2012, an outbreak of 1,118 cases of West Nile virus were confirmed by the CDC. This is the highest number of reported West Nile virus cases since the virus was first detected in the U.S. in 1999. Of those, 56% of patients developed neuroinvasive disease (involvement of the brain and nervous system), the most severe form of West Nile virus infection. The CDC reports neuroinvasive disease was reported by 47 states. Approximately 75% of the cases have been reported from five states (Texas, Mississippi, Louisiana, South Dakota, and Oklahoma), and almost half of all cases have been reported from Texas, many in the Dallas area.

Kingsford Crew BBQ

What a great Kingsford BBQ party I had! It was a total blast thanks to Crowdtap  I was chosen to host a Tailgate Pre-Game Party to show my support for our troops on August 30, 2014.

 In my party package posted in  the picture above I received a apron one coupon for a free bag of Kingsford charcoal and a  Fire & Smoke recipe cookbook by Chris Lilly.

I had a total of fifteen guess that included my husband and I.

We had a nice BBQ party table set up for our foods, I added some red, white and blue ribbons to show our support our troops.

My job was to prepare the foods for our BBQ. I chose two recipes from the Fire & Smoke cookbook.

We made the Seasoned Mustard Drumsticks with Peach Molasses Glaze the flavor of these drumsticks were very tasty and went fast there were no leftovers. The second recipe we made was the Grilled Brick Panini with Smoked Gouda sweet bacon and caramelized onions.

These two recipes were a BIG hit with all of our guess. I would be making these two again.

My husbands job was to BBQ with Kingsford charcoal and he did a great job! 

He who holds the spatula is king.

  The chef behind the grill is wearing his new Kingsford apron and giving our troops a salute #TailgateForOurTroops
