Revlon Youth FX System Review

I was hand picked through Crowdtap to test and review the new Revlon Youth FX System. 
In my kit I received...
1 sample of Youth FX Foundation
1 sample of Youth FX Concealer
1 sample of Youth FX Forehead primer
and 1sample of Youth FX Face/Neck Primer.

The Revlon Youth FX system is geared towards more mature skin like mine. These products are to fill and blur signs of aging to help you look years younger in just seconds.
As I'm going to be 50 years old this September I have been noticing more fine lines, darker spots and aging skin. 
Who doesn't want  products to help hide those signs of aging?! I know I do.

Lets talk about the primers. I like the fill + blur primer for face and neck. It was a bit to thick and took more time to apply onto skin but felt nice and seem to give me a better canvas for foundation. It did appear to fill in my fine lines that I have around my eyes. 

As for the Forehead primer I really could do without this product for two reasons first I don't have a need for this yet my forehead has no wrinkles or deep lines between the eyes and second is that the face/neck primer worked well. 

Onto the Foundation. The shade I picked is 330 Natural Tan with a SPF20 I have more color on my face from the sun so this shade was a good match. It did give me a full coverage and looked great. It was a lot thicker than what I normally would buy in a foundation. 
I noticed that using a foundation brush wasn't a option it needed to be applied with a sponge so it didn't appear blotchy.
It did blur my dark spots and filled in my fine lines. It stayed on over 12 hours and still looked fresh.

My skin looks amazing. Its hard to tell I have dark spots!

There was one thing I disliked about the foundation it was sticky/tacky on my skin all day long. My skin felt awful. I couldn't wait to wash it off. If they could change that I would so buy this as my daily foundation.

The last product is fill + blur concealer in 04 medium. This was way to light in color to be medium. It applied smoothly but didn't give me the coverage I needed. As a matter of fact it made my dark spot stand out even more. I think I would need a  darker shade. Although the foundation did give me full coverage.

Revlon PhotoReady Collection Review

I was hand picked to sample the Revlon  PhotoReady Collection through Crowdtap. I received one PhotoReady Perfecting Primer and one Highlight (210 Gold Light) and Blush Duo (330 Nude kiss).

The Highlight & Blush Duo that I received came in the box that states 003 Medium. 

The Insta-blush come in 4 different colors they are Berry Kiss, Candy Kiss, Rose Gold Kiss and Nude Kiss.

 The Highlighting sticks come in 2 shades Gold Light and Pink Light.

 There are 3 Primers Perfecting, Brightening and Pore Reducing. 

I have been using all three of these Revlon products for about 2 weeks now and I must say I really love this collection.

 The first time I used it I didn't like it after applying my foundation. I had to wash it off because it made my foundation look caked on. After I applied it I put on my foundation I didn't wait. The second time I applied it I waited about 2 minutes than applied my foundation and it didn't have that caked on look. 

The PhotoReady Primer is light and airy. Applies very smoothly and blend into my skin wonderfully. It definitely gives me that awesome photo ready look! 

Now lets talk about the Revlon Hightlight & Blush Duo. These are now my two favorite products that I must have in my daily makeup routine.  

I love the color of these two products. They go great with my complexion. 
The picture before is before I blended them into my skin. 
Easy to apply you just draw a line on cheeks with blush and add a line either above or below your blush with highlight stick and blend into skin.  You also can apply highlight down your nose bridge.
The blush isn't too dark nor too light its perfect. 
These products last all day never needing to reapply.

I love the way my makeup looks everyday now thanks to Revlon PhotoReady Collection. 

My husband asked me one day if I did something different with my makeup because my skin looked as if I had a glow.

 I say if your husband notices your skin looks good stick with it.

Back to School with Bic Xtra - Fun #2 Pencils

Oh what fun these Bic #2 Pencils would be for kids going back to school. These look so hip, colorful and fun.

I think Bic brand is the best pencil of all times.

These are New BIC Xtra-Fun #2 pencils with stripes. These do not write in color but the barrels are striped in  two toned colors red, yellow, green, purple and orange.

The pencils have break resistant lead with durable erasers. I found that the pencils bend a bit but don't break. How awesome it that! I'm sure Mom's would love that they are PMA certified non toxic.

My grand kids were so excited to use the Bic Xtra-Fun pencils. They did a lot of drawings and writing while I made lunch. I noticed that the lead wasn't worn down after all the drawing and writing they did.

New Always Radiant Pads Review

My go to brand of pads have been Always. 

So I was excited to try out these new always radiant pads.

This free sample box came with 15 pads.

I love having the protection I need throughout my day without any worries that I'm going to have a leakage issue.

The always radiant are made with FlexFoam it is soft  and makes them easy to move with you. These give you 100% leak-free protection and absorbs 10x it's weight up to 8 hours a day. 

These have a printed design on the pad of flowers. The center of pad has these small holes which lets you breathe and stay fresher longer. I like that they have wings. I don't ever buy pads without wings because I need the added protection they give you.

I had the freedom to wear what I wanted during that time of month.

I love the wrapper its bright, colorful and fun.

Lovin' My New 2016 Fuego Grill + Review

2016 Fuego Element F21C Carbon Steel Propane

My husband and I were looking online for a new grill. As the last one we bought a few years ago just isn't working very well and already falling apart. The cooking area is rusted and has deterioration. With so many brands and different styles we didn't know which one to choose.

I entered a contest on Instagram  through Adam Gertler page who was helping Fuego Grill promote a giveaway and I won the grill!
 I was excited. I won the New 2016 Fuego Grill.

I thought well this wasn't what we were looking for in a grill and maybe we still need to buy a one. When we received this my husband put it together and he said "It was really easy he had no problems" I was happy about that because he gets mad when its not easy. lol

This grill is sleek, stylish and  can fit into just about any space in your yard, porch or deck. Its not huge and its easy to move as it has four wheels and two of the wheels have locks so it doesn't move. 

I love that the propane tank sits under the grill in a cage. The cage is easy to open and it has a magnetic lock to keep is closed.

This is the Duel Zone Burners. You have Zone 1 and Zone 2 cooking area. 

Zone 1 is the large outer ring. This cooks the food through indirect heat. Which means it cooks more slowly. This is good for ribs, roasts and hot dogs.

 Zone 2 is direct heat for burgers, pizza, poultry and seafood. I love this feature. Your foods will cook faster than than most grills.

Here is the best part of the Fuego Grill "The Cast iron Grate"! I love cooking on cast iron. This is the Best grill I have ever grilled on. I have used this many times already and I have no issues which is a big surprise as I have issues with other grills I owned. 

The cooking area is big. You can cook about 10 to 12 burgers at once. The grill reaches 500 degrees in 5 minutes with a range of 250 to 650. The lid is light weight contains a thermometer and you can attach the lid to the  grill handles so you have free hands to cook. 

The ignition button starts the grill easily push once and you have fire. 

It contain a Residue tray that can be easily cleaned by hand with soap and water. The Cast iron grate is cleaned by cooking at high temperature for about 5 minutes to burn away any foods and grease left behind. If it needs more cleaning you can use a mixture of salt and vegetable oil and rinse with hot water and dry over low heat completely. Here is a tip Do apply a thin layer of vegetable oil after each use.

If I saw this when shopping online I might have not looked at it. Only because when I think of a grill I see a big rectangle grill. 

I'm so very happy to have won this and I won't be shopping for another one. The company sent a grill cover and I was happy with that as you should keep your grill covered when not in use.

Beets BLU Wireless Heart Rate Monitor will help you stay on track by giving you the most accurate heart rate reading. 

You just need to download one of these apps Endomondo, Runkeeper Map My Run or other apps.

 This is compatible with iPhone 4s and later and can be use with iPad 3 or later. 

I received Beets BLU Heart Rate Monitor to test and review. 

Its easy to put on. You need to wet it with water and place right under your chest.

 I had issues when I first started to use it. I couldn't get it to connect for days. 

After one of my cardio workouts I wanted to see if I could get it to work to track my weight lifting heart rate. I was really sweaty and when I put it on it connected! I was excited and it worked great keeping track. 

My next workout I couldn't get it to connect even wetting it a lot. So I think maybe if I would buy the gel it may get a better connection.

 Out of five stars I would give this three.

 I recommend if you do buy the Beets Blu Heart Rate Monitor buy the gel too.

I have to say I love the results I have after using Murad Rapid Lightening Regimen.

I have been using this  Murad Regimen for about three weeks. I start with Essenrial C Cleanser every morning and evening it is packed with vitamin A, C and E  and removes all the makeup and dirt from my skin. It didn't dry out my skin and left my skin feeling radiant. 

Than I apply the Rapid Age Spot and Lightening Serum. You need only a small amount and evenly apply this all over your  face neck and chest. This is sticky at first but will disappear within minutes.

Next I use Essential C Day Moisture with Broad Spectrum SPF 30. This protects your skin from further damage.

 You do want to make sure to let the Rapid Spot Serum dry for a minute or two before apply the moisturizer.

 Once every week I used the Intensive C Radiance Peel.

 When I didn't apply the Rapid Serum I used Advanced Active Radiance Serum.

 The 1st picture is my chest area ,the other two are my face and as you can see there is a difference in the coloration. I noticed this after using this for a week. I'm really happy to see my sun hyper-pigmention lighter then ever.

Tropicana Review

There is nothing like drinking a large glass of Tropicana Vitamin C and Zinc Orange Juice at breakfast.  Its my family's best way to start our day.

Tropicana is made with 100%  fresh oranges without any added sugar, water or even preservatives.

 This has 3 X's the vitamin C than regular orange juice. 

I like that because my family sometimes needs to get more vitamin C and with winter time here it supports our immune systems.

My family enjoyed the fresh taste of Tropicana. They liked it so much that I found them having a glass through the day not just at breakfast. 

I chose the no pulp option because my son prefers this kind but you can also get it with pulp and my husband and I love that. 

Look at the color. It's the color of sunshine.

Ore-Ida Tater Tots

 I received a coupon  for free Ore-Ida Tater Tots thanks to Influenster. 

One of my Badge activities for this was to do a video or blog about my unique recipe.

 I must say I don't do well coming up with my own recipes I'm more of a recipe follower. 

I cooked up some Italian sausage and baked the Ore-Ida Tater Tots and added the sausage to the top then added some shredded cheese and put back into the oven until the cheese melted.

My teenage son and his four friends loved it! They ate them all. They are so tasty and makes me remember my childhood. I love Tater tots.

Kiss True Volume Lashes Review

I was impressed with applying Kiss True Volume Lashes.

 I don't wear lashes very often but if I do I will be buying these. 

They look so natural like they are my own lashes.

I used Kiss Strip Lash Adhesive in clear.

They were a perfect fit for me so I didn't need to cut them. Before you apply them do make sure they fit you. I added some adhesive and wait a while for them to almost dry before I applied them.
